West Lakes Surgery Center has an exceptional full‑time, part‑time, or PRN opportunity for an Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team. We are a well‑established, multi‑specialty ambulatory surgery center located in Clive, IA, known for high‑quality care, teamwork, and excellent work‑life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct patient care within the operating room
• Organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to support efficient case flow
• Provide perioperative nursing care based on the patient’s surgical needs and anesthesia type
• Ensure proper techniques and procedures are followed according to established standards
• Address patient needs during admission to the operating room
• Perform circulating nurse duties in accordance with ASC protocols
• Assist with inventory management to maintain appropriate supply levels
• Support patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the surgical experience

Qualifications

Required:

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience
• BLS certification
• Strong commitment to patient safety and quality care

Preferred:

• Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) experience
• ACLS certification (PALS preferred)
• Strong clinical skills, communication, and teamwork abilities
